A Message to the Cumru Elementary Community

I am humbled and honored to serve as your School Principal at Cumru Elementary School. As we get ready to start the 2024-2025 academic school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our students, families and dedicated staff members who make Cumru Elementary such a wonderful teaching and learning community.

Cumru Elementary School has a rich history of fostering academic excellence, promoting a nurturing environment, and cultivating a sense of belonging among all our students. Over the years, the school and community have established some wonderful traditions that have become an integral part of our school's identity. I look forward to continuing these traditions as well as identifying new opportunities for our students and community.

As we move forward, I want to emphasize my unwavering commitment to school-community engagement. I believe that strong partnerships with students, families, staff, and the broader community are fundamental to a thriving educational experience. I am dedicated to creating open channels of communication and ensuring that your voices are heard, valued, and incorporated in our school's decision-making processes.

One of our primary goals is to support the learning of all students, ensuring that each child receives a personalized and inclusive education. We will continue to promote an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. By recognizing and appreciating the unique strengths and opportunities of each student, we can create a learning experience where every student is empowered to pursue their passion, purpose, and path.

In addition to academics, we are continuing our focus on creating a sense of belonging for our students.  At Cumru Elementary, we instill three expectations in our students in all areas of our school day to support our students so that they value themselves and others.

  1. Take Care of Yourself

  2. Take Care of Others

  3. Take Care of our School / Community
